Wollersheim Winery Grapes
Last week Amanda and I went on vacation with my parents. We rented a house on Lake Wisconsin called Water’s Edge Retreat. It was a fun vacation, we did a few things. One interesting place we visited was the Wollersheim Winery.
It’s a pretty big winery, well at least to my standards for a winery in Wisconsin. They have tours that tell you a little bit about the history, show some areas of the vineyard, a few fermentation tanks, the cellar, and finally they have you do some wine testing.
Overall I think it was great. All though, it was not as much fun for Amanda, not being twenty-one and all. If you are ever in the Prairie du Sac area, or just in central Wisconsin, check it out.
