Facebook Engineering Puzzles
So I may be a little bit slow, but I figured other programmers like myself may find this interesting if they have not found it. On the Careers section of Facebook there are a series of puzzles that are to be completed in *NIX environments, so no .NET or Windows orientated languages. A few of them are pretty easy, some difficult. I often start projects then find myself bored, or just want a tease and test. Looks like I’m going to have some fun the next few days.

Microblag…blag…blag.
![]()
Okay, I first off cannot deny I am not a fan of microblogging; I have a Twitter, and that Twitter is linked to my Facebook – if I could I’d link it to my MySpace. Who cares if no one cares about what you’re doing? That’s the fun in it – or else I wouldn’t be blabbing my ass off here. Now, seriously. You’re going to minipost about your workout, while you’re doing it? Can’t be that much of a work out if you are so busy on some sort of mobile device. It is kind of like those people who watch their favorite sitcoms while on the treadmil at the fitness center I go to.
Now, I’ve microblogged while driving, little updates on where I am here and there. That’s also so I can log time, check my miles per gallon if I wanted. Hell, then my parents can even know I made it somewhere safe. I know a phone call is more important, but piss on roaming charges.
I’m a nerd, I love technology, and I love its innovations; but, even I am sort of contorted by this. Please, someone call me out on this if I ever do. Shit! I should Twitter my wedding “lol guys, I just said ‘I do’.”
