xkcd – Estimation

This is full of win. I do not know why Windows even bothers to try and estimate. When I copy a movie file it should just say “Get some damn coffee and watch television, maybe I’ll be done.”

Any Video Converter: FTW

I have just been won over by the fanciful program Any Video Conveter. I hate RealPlayer – and I especially hate peers on the internet who share files based on RMVB. I’ve used Vio before for my mobile videos – but that only covers the basics. Right now I have a queue of 30 files waiting to be converted, and I am able to go do whatever I want. So far quality looks great. It converts to almost anything, from anything. This has my seal of approval most deffinately.

Class Conviction

I used to think kids my age knew how to work computers, but up in Stevens Point that opinion changed.  That thought has been reassured the past few weeks.

Class Conviction recording a small release sometime ago, and a few weeks I helped them with putting the actual CD together. That was a bit stressing, but we got 30 full CDs done, and emptied out all of my inks. But hey, I got $50 for more ink. Today I spent the morning hooking up Travis’s new printer, after bringing all the files over to his house yesterday. I’ve already gotten three phone calls about getting things done, like installing fonts. Meh, that’s life.

The band’s pretty rad, check them out at http://myspace.com/classconviction1
